Live trading for the 2026 King’s Cup Global Invitational (KCGI) is officially underway, pitting 37,148 participants across 1,347 teams against each other for a share of a $3 million USDT prize pool. For the first time in the tournament’s history, competitors are no longer restricted to crypto futures as they can now trade tokenized U.S. equities, gold, and traditional financial perpetuals from a single account.

The two-week tournament, running through September 22, 2026, expands KCGI from a pure crypto derivatives contest into a multi-asset arena. Participants can allocate capital across three primary sectors:

  • Crypto Futures: Over 600 USDT-margined perpetual and delivery trading pairs.
  • TradFi Perpetuals: 24/7 contracts covering gold (XAU/USD), commodities, stock indices, and foreign exchange.
  • Tokenized U.S. Stocks (rTokens): Spot trading for tokenized shares of major U.S. equities like Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, Meta, and Amazon, backed 1:1 by underlying shares.

While trading volume is calculated separately for each sector, overall profit and loss (PnL) feeds into a single global leaderboard. This setup allows participants to pivot capital toward whichever asset class presents the strongest market movement during the competition window.

How the $3 Million Prize Pool Is Divided

The rewards structure combines competitive leaderboards with task-based quest rewards to accommodate both institutional teams and retail traders:

  • UEX Arena ($2 Million USDT): The main competitive bracket allocates $1 million USDT to the top 30 teams by PnL. Sector volume leaderboards distribute $300,000 USDT for crypto futures, $300,000 USDT for TradFi perpetuals, and $200,000 USDT for rToken spot trading. An additional $200,000 USDT is set aside for the top 500 solo traders by individual PnL.
  • UEX Treasure Map ($600,000 USDT): A quest-based module where participants complete daily trading tasks to earn keys and asset-class fragments, opening guaranteed-reward treasure chests and unlocking access to a shared 20,000 USDT final pool.
  • Captain & Bonus Rewards ($400,000 USDT): Team captains compete for $100,000 USDT based on member activity and cross-asset participation. Early-bird incentives and a post-tournament livestream giveaway cover the remaining $300,000 USDT in allocations.

Bitget’s Broader Push into Universal Trading and AI Infrastructure

The multi-asset structure of KCGI 2026 reflects Bitget’s ongoing effort to position itself as a “Universal Exchange” (UEX), blending digital asset markets with traditional finance.

Several recent platform updates contextualize this strategy:

  • TradFi Growth: Following the expansion of its TradFi perpetual suite earlier in 2026, Bitget reported that non-crypto products reached over $4 billion in daily volume shortly after rollout, accounting for nearly 12% of total platform activity.
  • AI Trading Infrastructure: Bitget recently launched its “Agent Hub” and “GetClaw,” an installation-free autonomous AI trading companion built on OpenClaw designed to assist users in identifying real-time market signals across crypto and tokenized traditional assets.
  • Global Educational Initiatives: Beyond trading products, Bitget partnered with UNICEF on September 9, 2026, to launch a digital financial literacy module within the Game Changers Coalition curriculum, aiming to reach 1.1 million young people with financial and blockchain education by 2027.

The KCGI live trading window closes on September 22 at 11:59 PM (UTC+8). Official leaderboard results will be published on September 23–24, followed by an awards ceremony livestream on September 25.
